SHS 10/28

Here are my interpretations for Scavenger Hut Sunday this week.

Pattern

The kids picked out the patterns for this years Jack O Lanterns.
I love how they show the different personalities.

Machine

I found this beauty at a thrift store recently. It will soon live in my office/craft room.
For now, it is a constant source of enjoyment for all the kids who come to our house.
They all love playing with it. It's a good thing it doesn't work already.

Sign

This sign is front and center in my kitchen.
I am hopeful that we are all living these rules.

Stones

There is no shortage of rocks around El Paso.
Pretty much all the landscaping is done with them.
Big, little, black, brown, grey. They are everywhere here.

Sparkle

Look closely. See the glitter sparkling inside this orb.
We were fascinated with it on our recent trip to White Sands National Park.
Trina begged me to buy it, but for $135, I passed.

  5. Hi Verna, the lanterns are so fine, I bet you had fun time carving them :-) The old type writer reminds me of one alike, which was in the attic of my grandmother - brings back many nice memories! Have a lovely weekend!

  7. The Halloween Pumpkins are spooktastic! Very cool! You are in El Paso? My husband is retired Army. We spent four years on Biggs Field back in 1976! Do you know if the riding stables are still there at Ft.Bliss? Happy Halloween to you!
