8 Things

Katrina's room is almost done.
She how has shelves and an enormous bookcase.
I wish I had had such a cool room when I was 15.

There is nothing better than a roaring fire in the middle of winter.
Except maybe roasting marshmallows on it.
Alas, we had none.  :(

Have you tried these?
Do yourself a favor.  Do.
They are amazing!

My bathroom is finally all the way complete.
I will post more pictures of the details later.

I love that my Jerry loves his kids so much.
Even if he never lets them win.

The Spring bug has bitten me hard.
These are just a few of the things I have planted over the last couple of days.
Plus about half of my vegetable garden.

If you are ever in Tyler, Texas, this is the place to eat.
It is wonderful! Trust me.

My brand new salt and pepper shakers.
Got them from a flea market last weekend.
Perfection.

This has been a Public Service Announcement
brought to you by the letter L.

  1. I like the salt and pepper shakers, cute! Your daughter's room looks nice and roomy!! Neat too that your husband doesn't let the kids win; they'll keep trying and one day they will win and what an achievement that will be!

  6. Your house is looking so wonderful! Great job! And I don't let my kids win at chess either. That way when they finally do (and that will probably be soon) they will really know they accomplished something and that I didn't just "let" them win. :)
Beautiful flowers! I can't wait for flowers. :)
