Summer 2014

I have been woefully negligent on my blog this year.
I make no excuses, except I am in a personal faith crisis
and I am working through it.
Slowly.

I did, however, still manage to document our summer
pretty well.

It was filled with blackberries.

In N Out burger trips.

Scary stories by candlelight.

Playing in the rain.

And a baptism.

Then there was the annual back to school war.
We chose a color war this year.
It made for some pretty cool pictures.

Finally, it was time for school to start.
Hallelujah!
This is what you get when you try to get a picture of the first day of school.
I love having boys.

And now I can enjoy my morning coffee in peace.

Until about 4 o'clock.
Then the chaos starts again.

  1. Sorry about your faith crisis; I think we all go through things like that at times. Glad to hear you are slowly working through it. Sounded like a fun summer! Glad to hear about your daughter's baptism :)

Now off to another school year! I hope it is a successful one for your kids!

  2. Wow! That looks like a super fun summer. And holy rain! It was really coming down. The color war looks like a blast too.
A faith crisis. That's rough. Consider yourself hugged.
    Hang in there!
