This squirrel at my house is spoiled rotten.
My dad had been teaching him to come up and take nuts and
food from his hand.

"Hey, Bushy! Want some food?"
"Food? Yeah, yeah!
I am on my way."
"Where is it? I want it now!"
"Nom, nom, nom!!Date candy. My favorite!
Thank you, thank you!"
I have been trying for a couple of days now,
but he's been kind of skittish.
Until today.
I finally got him to come and get some Ritz crackers from me.
I do so love living in the country.
How cute! We used to have squirrels when we lived in the city; they would come into our back yard to go to the neighbor's next door who had fruit trees :) Every so often he would capture them and take them far away, but they or their cousins would always find their way back to his house :)
