Trying to photograph Fall in El Paso is a bit of a challenge.
There are some trees with leaves, but honestly they just turn brown and fall from the limbs.
Not very pretty.
I did manage to find a few nice ones, though.
This one is actually a very new tree growing. I was impressed with its hardiness. It will truly have to fight to survive around here.
Good luck, buddy!
As I went for a walk around my neighborhood, I found a lot of decorated pumpkins.
These were my favorite, hands down.
Josh named our pumpkin Bob.
This one is not from around here.
We went to Albuquerque last weekend and on our ride through the mountains,
there were a ton of Aspens changing colors.
I love how the leaves were fluttering and glowing in the late afternoon light.
I cannot wait to get back to someplace green. Where there are actual colors for Fall.
It's my favorite time of the year.
I love that first one -- great shot! The pumpkins are so fun. We haven't carved ours yet...hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteThose are great shots of fall! Well done!
ReplyDeleteLoved your manners post too! :)
I have a close friend living in the wilds of Albuquerque, so I get your problem....However, you have managed to post some fabulous images of fall...
ReplyDeleteWe lived in Alamogordo for 3 1/2 years and spent the whole time wishing we were back in 4 season country. Once we got back home, it didn't take us long to realize how good we'd had it. lol Anyway, you did a great job with pictures. And most of those pumpkins hands were down - like you said. Jack and Bob are both cute and the aspens in Albuquerque with the sparkling water - gorgeous.
